Like many Americans, Robert Rogulic enjoys the great outdoors and hopes to preserve nature for generations to come. Robert Rogulic proudly supports Ducks Unlimited, an organization that makes use of many conservation strategies. As part of its mission to preserve nature for birdwatchers, hunters, and environmentalists, Ducks Unlimited restores damaged lands, such as grasslands in which ducks nest, forests that provide ducks with shelter in the winter, and watershed areas that affect the health of wetlands. Most of the remaining wetlands are on private land, so Ducks Unlimited works extensively with landowners to ensure that ducks have places to live. In these efforts, Ducks Unlimited runs conservation easement programs that involve agreements between the organization and landowners. The agreements may provide financial incentives to landowners who make their land more duck-friendly. In certain cases, Ducks Unlimited purchases land outright from private holders, improves the land, and then sells or donates it to the government to ensure long-term maintenance.

Robert Rogulic is the founder, CEO, and president of Tri-National, Inc., a transcontinental transportation company headquartered in Missouri. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Robert Rogulic enjoys supporting the Ducks Unlimited (DU) organization that is dedicated to maintaining waterfowl populations through wetland preservation efforts. Recently, DU announced that the Nestle Purina PetCare Company has come aboard as a corporate sponsor of the DU Rice Stewardship Partnership. Nestle Purina has committed to a $2 million investment to preserve wetlands as a habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife and ensure that rice fields are properly maintained and protected from contaminants. Ricelands not only provide a staple crop for consumption, but also serve as an important habitat for waterfowl and wildlife. Flooded rice fields provide mallard and pintail ducks with around one-third of their food intake in areas of the Gulf Coast, the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, and California’s Central Valley. The project will fund irrigation enhancements, conservation planning efforts, and nutrient management. Robert Rogulic is the CEO, president, and founder of the premiere NAFTA transportation company Tri-National, Inc. Beyond his commitment to serving clients along the Central Corridor of the United States, Robert Rogulic supports such organizations as Ducks Unlimited (DU). Since 1937, DU has worked to conserve Earth’s wetlands and waterfowl. It employs numerous programs and projects to accomplish this goal, including DU Films. Through DU Films, the organization created a series of short films in an effort to capture the essence of being a waterfowler. This narrative film series tells the stories of duck hunters throughout the United States and delves into the reasons behind why they became hunters. Featured individuals discuss the drives behind their passion and why they give back to the resource they love. The organization creates its films thanks to a partnership with Rock Road Creative. Each production is available online and features advanced digital cinematography that captures striking waterfowl action. One of the organization’s more recent productions is “Succession Planning,” which looks at the traditions and life lessons learned among three generations of duck hunters. By displaying the lives of waterfowlers, DU hopes to promote habitat conservation. These conservation efforts include setting up breeding grounds for waterfowl in various areas around the country. Robert Rogulic, the president and founder of Tri-National, Inc., works to maintain and grow the organization’s reputation as a leading NAFTA transportation provider. Tri-National provides logistics services across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Robert Rogulic is a member of the Truckload Carriers Association, an advocacy group for the transportation industry. The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is currently involved with nationwide efforts to transport The Wall That Heals across the country. The Wall That Heals is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial located in Washington D.C. Included on the 250 foot long memorial are the names of 58,000 soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Created in 1996, The Wall That Heals has made stops in over 400 communities, allowing Americans to experience the healing power of the memorial in the comfort of familiar surroundings. Included in the exhibit are photos of soldiers, memorabilia, maps of Vietnam, and a timeline of key events of the era. Members of TCA can volunteer their services to haul the wall to one community or to an entire region. Those interested in helping with the project should apply through the TCA website. All donations to the Kilo Foundation are tax deductible, and donors can request to give money as part of a memorial gift in remembrance of a loved one or friend. Once these gifts are received, the organization sends a personalized card to the family or person being honored that indicates that a gift was given. Individuals can also make gifts to commemorate special occasions. Additionally, donors who are employed at a company with a matching gift program can make contributions through their employers. |
