Business leader Robert Rogulic serves as the president and CEO of Tri-National, Inc., a premier transportation service provider between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Tri-National, Inc., is based in Earth City, Missouri. Deeply involved in wildlife conservation, Robert Rogulic supports Ducks Unlimited (DU).
The largest private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization in the world, DU conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and other habitats for waterfowl in North America. The white-fronted goose, a waterfowl also known as “speckle bellies” or “specks,” is expanding its winter range. According to a DU news article, the specks are hunted in Prairie Canada, where they stop during their southward migration, and along the Gulf Coast on their wintering grounds. Today, however, the specks are in new flyways in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Experts say the specks rely less on wet marshes and more on rice fields, which are rich in these states. Despite being hunted, the specks have maintained their population over the past 10 years, according to experts.
